Receive God’s Mercy and Extend It to Others

Throughout Scripture, God’s character is revealed through His mercy and willingness to forgive. He calls His people to confess their sins, turn away from wrongdoing, and trust in His grace.

Jesus also teaches us to forgive others. Forgiveness does not mean pretending that hurt never happened. It means choosing mercy and refusing to allow resentment to control our hearts. These Scriptures invite us to look honestly at our own need for forgiveness and consider how we can extend grace to others.

We are reminded that God removes our sins, cleanses those who confess, and remembers wrongdoing no more. Through Jesus Christ, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins.

We are also called to forgive others, to seek reconciliation where possible, and to respond to wrongdoing without repaying evil for evil. Forgiveness is not simply about forgetting. It is about bringing our guilt, pain, and relationships before God and allowing His mercy to shape the way we respond.
